About the Job:

This role as Graphic Designer Intern contributes to the development of TeePublic's creative team in the form of web, email, ad, and product design work. The position is not remote - you must work out of the office in New York City. It is expected to last 6 months, through the holidays. You will:

  • Work closely with the all members of our Creative Team to create consistent and varying brand materials across all digital channels (email marketing, social media, digital advertising, website assets) as well as their integration offline in both packaging and temporary retail concepts.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create ad concepts and ad copy.

  • Take design direction from third party content partners (YouTube stars, podcasts, Twitch streamers) to develop and design merch concepts. 

  • Bring a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Take the lead on creative initiatives when needed and manage these projects with limited assistance. 

  • Work effectively within the team.

  • Experience with print and web design with exceptional conceptual, typography, and design skills.

  • Mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator, with knowledge of InDesign and AfterEffects preferred.

  • An interest in advertising and copy writing a huge plus.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual work with excellent execution of ideas - applications without a link to a portfolio will be overlooked.

  • Significant enthusiasm for brainstorming, iteration, and collaborative design.

  • An understanding of the limits and capabilities of HTML and CSS

  • Can deliver beautiful and inspiring content.

  • You are deeply passionate about design -- it's what you want to do with your life!

  • Bonus points for experience with photography and photo editing.
